Yes. Material supply is available as a standalone service. You don't need to hire us for excavation or grading to order aggregate, fill, or other construction materials through us. That said, many clients find it easier to handle both through one contractor so the scheduling and quantities stay aligned with actual site conditions.

Minimum quantities vary by material type and delivery location. Most bulk aggregate orders work out to a minimum truckload — typically 10–20 tons depending on the material. The right material depends on what it's supporting — a road bed has different base requirements than a drainage trench or a landscape path. If you have engineer specs, we source to those. If you're working from a general scope without detailed specs, our field experience means we can advise on appropriate material grades based on application, soil conditions, and load expectations. We'd rather get that conversation right upfront than have you call back because the material isn't performing.

Yes, and for multi-phase projects, it's the smart way to handle it. Storing large quantities of aggregate on site creates compaction, contamination, and access problems. We can set up a running material schedule tied to your project phases so each delivery arrives when your crew is ready for it. This keeps the site clean and avoids the cost of moving material twice.

Both. For concrete, we coordinate with regional ready-mix plants and schedule deliveries tied to your pour window. For asphalt, we source hot mix through established relationships with paving material suppliers across Sonoma County, Monterey County, and the Central Coast. Cold patch is also available for repair and patching work. If you're doing the paving yourself or with a sub, we handle the material side.

Our primary service area covers Sonoma County, Monterey County, and the California Central Coast — including Santa Cruz County, San Benito County, and Santa Clara County. Delivery to rural, hillside, and agriculturally-zoned properties is within our normal scope. For projects outside this corridor or in locations with unusual access requirements, call us to discuss — we work out logistics on a case-by-case basis.

Material pricing depends on type, grade, quantity, and delivery distance. Aggregate is typically priced per ton delivered. Ready-mix concrete is priced per cubic yard. Asphalt pricing varies by mix type and load size. We provide itemized quotes so you know exactly what you're getting and what it costs. There are no hidden fuel surcharges or last-minute additions — what we quote is what you pay.

Yes. Recycled aggregate (crushed concrete and asphalt reclaim), recycled base rock, and permeable aggregate systems are all available. For projects pursuing LEED credits, green building certifications, or low-impact development requirements, we can source materials that meet those specifications. Difficult access is part of what we deal with across the California Central Coast — rural hillside properties in Sonoma County, coastal parcels in Monterey County, and agricultural sites throughout the region. We assess access before scheduling delivery, select appropriate truck configurations, and plan drop locations that don't require material to be moved twice. If the access problem is significant, we'll tell you upfront rather than show up with the wrong equipment.

For standard aggregate and fill material, a few days' lead time is usually sufficient. For ready-mix concrete, we recommend scheduling your pour at least 48–72 hours out to lock in a batch plant slot. Specialty materials, engineered mixes, or large-volume orders may require more lead time. For ongoing projects, we recommend establishing a running schedule so availability is locked in before you need it rather than scrambling on short notice.
